About The VA Claims Hub
The VA Claims Hub is a free, ad-free education resource for veterans navigating the VA disability claims process. No upsells. No "premium tier." No data collected. Everything runs in your browser — your symptom diary, your draft letters, your filing checklist — and stays on your device.
Why this exists
Service members get out and are told: "file a claim, see a VSO if you need help, don't hire claim sharks." That's true advice but it's incomplete advice. The veterans who win the biggest awards aren't necessarily the ones with the worst injuries — they're the ones who understood the rules before they filed.
The rules aren't secret. They're scattered across 38 CFR, decades of Federal Circuit case law, and the lived experience of advocates and accredited attorneys. This site pulls that body of knowledge into one place, organized for veterans, written plainly, without the lead-generation overlay that most "veterans claim" sites carry.
What it is not
When you're ready to file or appeal, take what you learned here to a VA-accredited Veterans Service Organization, attorney, or claims agent. They can review your specific situation, file on your behalf, and (for attorneys and agents) represent you through appeals.
How accurate is this?
Content is drawn from VA.gov, the Federal Register, established veteran advocacy organizations (CCK Law, Hill & Ponton, NVLSP), and case law. Rates and rules cited are current as of 2026. VA rules change — when it matters for your specific case, verify on VA.gov or with your representative before relying.
Privacy
The VA Claims Hub does not collect personal data. There is no account, no signup, no analytics that track you across the web. Tools that save state (calculator, wizard, playbook) save it to your browser's localStorage — only your device sees it. Clear your browser data and it's gone. We can't recover it because we never had it.
Found an error?
Tell us. Mistakes happen — sometimes a rule changes and a page doesn't, sometimes a citation is off, sometimes the language is unclear. Better feedback makes this resource better for the next veteran who reads it.
Last major content update: 2026. Forms current as of August 2024 VA revisions.
